9 January Arklow River anchored off Seaham from Brunsbuettel, with the port closed until the 14 January

14 January River Carrier arrived from Immingham to take Hardcore to Moerdijke
14 January Linnau arrived from Rendsburg with a cargo of Sawdust
Arklow River's inbound movement was cancelled due to problems raising her anchor

15 January Arklow River arrived on the early morning tide, she brought Technical Urea
15 January Linnau sailed for Stude in Germany
15 January River Carrier sailed for Moerdijke

17 Janury Arklolw Rogue arrived from Brunsbuettel bringing Technical Urea
17 January Arklow River departed

18 January Bramau arrived from Rendsburg bringing Sawdust

19 January Arklow Rogue sailed destination unknown at the moment.
19 January Union Moon arrived from Ghent with Coiled Steel
19 January Ashley arrived to load scrap metal
19 January Bramau sailed to Dundee

21 January Union Moon sailed to Berwick-upon-Tweed
21 Janury Ashley set sail, destination should've been Bilbao but due to engine problems was forced to divert to Sunderland.

First Movements of 2010


Union Topaz became the first visitor of the New Year to Seaham, arriving 6th January (seen here departing to Ghent 14th January, after having had to return to port on the 7th following the recent bad weather), bringing in her cargo of coiled steel for use at Nissan. Union Topaz has a length of 88m and a width of 11m.
